Diane Keifer, Admissions Coordinator

I began my career in skilled nursing in 1984 and have a wide-ranging background in the admission process. I started out as a receptionist, and then quickly moved into payroll and accounts payable. After, I transferred into the business office in 1985, processing HMO, and assisting with Medi-cal and Medicare billing.

In 1986, I transferred to business office manager and have been a manager for over 26 years. In the recent past, I have assisted in marketing activities. I love design and ended up painting the facility windows for the holidays and helped to create and design the activity calendars.

In my spare time, I like to draw, and watch old movies. One of my values is being close to my family and sharing; this includes my four-legged pal. I love Christmastime and I like to decorate for the holidays.

My personality is making people laugh because I think smiles are rewards that make each day. This is what I think about every time I meet a new resident and their family.
